We are one of the few dermatology practices in Austin to provide ultraviolet therapy, including the latest narrowband ultraviolet B modality, for the treatment of psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases. We are now also offering Photodynamic Therapy, the most advanced option for removal of multiple precancerous actinic keratoses.

In addition, Dr. Hendrix, Shirien, and our registered nurses/aestheticians, Stephanie Lemmons, RN and Rhonda Neumann, RN, provide a select range of cosmetic and aesthetic services. These include Microdermabrasion Facials, Intense Pulsed Light Treatments, Fractional Skin Resurfacing, Laser Hair Removal, Botox injections and select GlyMed skin care products. Feel free to ask them how they can help you look your best!

Medical care certainly can be expensive, but at Central Austin Dermatology we work hard to keep our charges affordable. Most of our fees are very close to the “allowable” amounts of commercial insurance plans. Of particular help to private pay patients, you can find a partial fee schedule on the “New Patients” tab above. This schedule includes several sample scenarios of total out-of-pocket charges you can expect for common dermatologic problems.
